About Ramble Advance GTX® W

A comfortable trail shoe ideal for outdoor activity. The upper fabric is adapted to exercise on surfaces such as gravel, asphalt and forest trails. Combined with the waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® membrane, this offers comfortable feet even when the pulse raises. The midsole provides stability, cushioning and support. The Vibram® outsole ensures good grip on wet and dry trails.

  • GORE-TEX Performance Comfort

    With breathable, wicking materials, the Performance Comfort technology is designed to maximize end-use comfort in a wide range of conditions and outdoor activities. The Performance Comfort technology is mainly found in Alfa's Mountain, Hiking and Hunting boots.

  • Textile

    Textile has very good breathability and low intrinsic weight. ALFA chooses textiles suitable for its application, with a focus on environment and quality.

Sole Technologies

  • Vibram® Trail Outsole

    The Vibram® Grip Trail sole is a durable outer sole with a low specific weight and a unique rubber compound that provides high friction and great grip. The sole pattern has a "self adaptive lug" design, which allows the knobs to grip the substrate from several angles and ensures an optimal grip during activity.

  • Anatomic Insole

    An anatomically crafted insole that keeps your feet dry and comfortable in breathable materials with great absorption. The foam construction provides shock absorption, comfort and relief for tired feet. The antibacterial surface also helps prevents odor.

Fit & Support

  • XL- last Hiking Mid and Low

    A spacious forefoot and stable fit guarantees toe mobility, while the round heel shape reduces the risk of blisters.

    A lacing system consisting of either hooks, rings, webbing, eyelets or a combination of these and one pair of lock hooks.

    Toe and heel protection that provides extra durability and extends the shoe life.

Size chart

Place a paper close to the wall and with bare feet place the foot on the paper, with your heel to the wall. Since it is important to stand up straight, preferably have someone help you draw a line in front of the longest toe. Remember to measure both feet as they might not be identical. With a ruler, confirm the measurement in centimeters and add additional space according to the list below.


Hunting and Hiking

  • Hiking Low and Hiking Mid approx. add 1 cm.
  • Mountain, Hunting and Winter boots add approx. 1.5 cm.

Skiing boots

  • Racing add approx. 1 cm.
  • Backcountry, Touring and Expedition add approx. 1.5 cm


  • Low and Mid add approx. 1 cm.
  • High add approx. 1.5 cm.
