What is the difference between Frya and Frya 2.0?

Frya 2.0 is an updated version of the original Frya.

Our Frya 2.0 has double-sewn galoshes for extra durability and improved protection in demanding terrain. The upper has also been made more flexible, providing increased comfort and a more natural feel while walking.

Who is Frya 2.0 made for?

Aksla 2.0 is built for fast hikers and trail-goers who want a lightweight yet protective hiking shoe that delivers durability, waterproofing and reliable grip across rough terrain.

Is the Frya 2.0 waterproof and breathable?

Yes. It uses a PFAS-free GORE-TEX® ePE membrane that blocks water from entering while letting moisture escape — keeping your feet dry and comfortable even in rain or wet conditions.

What makes its construction special?

Bio-circular Dyneema® upper: extremely abrasion-resistant and lightweight, designed to withstand roots, rocks and tough conditions.
Built on Alfa’s NORTIK-last: supports your natural gait while allowing freedom of movement — enhancing comfort and reducing fatigue.
Vibram® Megagrip outsole with Litebase + traction lugs: excellent grip on wet and dry surfaces with reduced sole weight for agility.
Integrated Dyneema® stretch gaiter: wraps around the ankle to keep out water, snow, sand and debris.
