Product description

This comfortable and extra warm backcountry ski boot has an integrated gaiter with a two-way zipper for enhanced ventilation, making it ideal for use on long, cold trips, as well as in loose snow. The boot is a further developed model of the bestsellers Outback A/P/S GTX and BC Gaiter A/P/S GTX. The new and stable inner boot is equipped with flex zones for comfortable skiing and ALFA Double Lock System to ease individual adjustment and bettering stability in descents. Outback A/P/S 2.0 GTX is winter lined with a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane and has a thermal insulating midsole to keep your feet dry and warm. RECCO avalanche system is integrated in the boot for extra safety. Furthermore, it is reinforced with Kevlar in exposed areas for the most demanding backcountry ski touring in the mountains and alpine environments. Extra toe reinforcements protect the leather from sharp ski edges . With a thermal insulating midsole and a heel shape to prevent this boot does not let the conditions end your adventure. Note that certain snow/crust conditions are an extreme strain on the boot’s materials, and with use under such conditions, increased wear is expected.

Yes. The boot features a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane that keeps snow and moisture out while allowing sweat to escape. Combined with a heat-insulating midsole and winter lining, it keeps your feet warm and dry even on long, cold tours.

What type of adventures is the Outback A/P/S 2.0 GTX best suited for?

This model is designed for BC backcountry skiing, including mountain terrain and wide-open plateaus.
