Sustainable Norwegian Wool - Naturally Warm & Water Repellent
Both the upper and the lining are made from environmentally friendly Norwegian wool, woven at Gudbrandsdalens Wool Factory. The woven structure enhances durability while preserving wool’s natural ability to breathe, insulate, and repel water. The upper and toe area are reinforced with premium nubuck leather for added protection and long-lasting wear.

Designed to maintain its appearance and performance over time, Stad requires minimal upkeep. A simple application of impregnation spray keeps the wool’s water-repellent qualities at their best.
Reliable Grip & Comfort in Every Step
The outsole features Alfa’s exclusive Vibram® rubber blend, providing excellent traction on snow-covered surfaces. A supportive EVA midsole adds cushioning and comfort for all-day wear.

Why do you use Norwegian wool?
We use Norwegian, Nordic Ecolabelled wool because it contains the natural technical properties you need to get a shoe you can enjoy all winter, for many seasons to come.
Norwegian sheep live outside in the harsh Norwegian weather, which makes the wool extra durable. Wool is naturally water-repellent with very good insulation.
The wool textile also does not need chemical treatment in production.
The quality we get when it is woven at Gudbrandsdalens Uldvarefabrikk in Lillehammer is also top class!
What kind of grip can I expect?
The Vibram® outsole with provides sure grip on slippery surfaces - developed for winter conditions.
