Constructed with a core of paulownia wood for strength and weight and 48 mm at the waist, the Mountain Race 48 Skin weighs a remarkable 1550 g per pair for the 200 cm skis – perfect for leaving the groomed tracks to break trails. The ski’s prominent wax pocket, moderate side-cut and ¾ steel edges offer stability and control on the descent. The ski is also equipped with Skin-Lock, allowing attachment of the Åsnes X-Skin, this if increased grip is needed, making it possible to climb more demanding terrain with less effort. We recommend using X-skin 45mm for this model, if you would like more speed we can recommend the 30mm Mohair for flat and less demanding terrain.
